HARRISBURG – Rep. Stephen Bloom (R-Cumberland) issued the following statement today regarding Gov. Tom Wolf’s proposed budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year:
“Our governor seems to have an insatiable appetite for spending and taxes. His job-killing energy tax proposal is terrible for Pennsylvania consumers and job creators. We have been successful in fighting off Gov. Wolf’s reckless tax-and-spend agenda for the past three years, and I remain committed to doing so again this year. I will continue to advocate for fiscally responsible alternatives that spend within our means and prioritize our hard-working taxpayers.”
