WHAT: State lawmakers from across the state will travel to Farmington, Fayette County, to gather testimony about the impact opioid addiction is having on Pennsylvania children and families.
Led by House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) and hosted by Rep. Matthew Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset), the legislative hearing will feature testimony from Auditor General Eugene DePasquale, as well as several local experts and community advocates.

Testifiers will include: Auditor General Eugene DePasquale; Fayette County District Attorney Rich Bower; Leslie Grenfell, Southwestern PA Area Agency on Aging, Inc.; Dr. Paul Niemiec, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg; Mary Sampey, Connellsville Catholic Churches; Jana Kyle, Fayette County Drug and Alcohol; and Gina D’Auria, Fayette County Children and Youth Services.
