WHAT: The House Labor and Industry Committee, chaired by Rep. Rob Kauffman (R-Franklin), will vote on his
House Bill 1915 to strategically end supplemental funding of the state’s Unemployment Compensation program.
The committee will also vote on Rep. Bryan Cutler’s (R-Lancaster) House Bill 1641 to establish the Employment First Program, which is designed to promote the employment of people with disabilities at competitive wages.
