WHAT: State Rep. Justin Simmons (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) will host a press conference to detail legislation to reform state government via limited constitutional convention.
House Bill 1967, which is co-sponsored by Simmons, would call for a limited constitutional convention, which could amend the state constitution to address the size of the Legislature, the state budget process and other areas.
WHO: Simmons will be joined by Rep. Stephen Bloom (R-Cumberland), the bill’s prime sponsor.
