WHAT: House Commerce Committee Chairman Brian Ellis (R-Butler) announced a voting meeting will be held for the consideration of the following consumer protection bills:
- House Bill 32, sponsored by Rep. W. Curtis Thomas (D-Philadelphia), would establish a commission to create and implement cybersecurity policy in Pennsylvania.
- House Bill 2590, sponsored by Rep. Warren Kampf (R-Montgomery/Chester), would create a low-interest loan/grant program for homeowners with stucco remediation.
- House Bill 2638, sponsored by Rep. Todd Stephens (R- Montgomery), would help eliminate costs to ratepayers for remediation of drinking water contamination near military installments.
WHO: Ellis, Thomas, Kampf and Stephens, as well as members of the committee.
