WHAT: Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks), chairman of the House Human Services Committee, will lead a broad coalition of health-related organizations to discuss the potential negative impact of federal legislation on Pennsylvania. Currently, the U.S. Senate is considering legislation known as Graham-Cassidy that would replace the Affordable Care Act and shift billions of dollars in cost and care to the states.

WHO: DiGirolamo; and representatives from the following health organizations: Pennsylvania Health Access Network, Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children, Disability Rights Network, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, The Arc of PA, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Inc., American Psychiatric Association, Drug and Alcohol Service Providers Organization of Pennsylvania, Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association, PA Recovery Organization Alliance (PRO-A), PA Homecare Associates, Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disabilities, PA Association of Community Health Centers, American Heart Association, PA Association of Nonprofit Organizations, AARP, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania and others.
