WHAT: Rep. Thomas Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) will welcome members of the House Human Services and Children and Youth committees to Montgomery County for a field hearing on the well-being of young adults leaving the foster care system.
WHO: Murt; Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks), chairman of the House Human Services Committee; Rep. Kathy Watson (R-Bucks), chairman of the House Children and Youth Committee; and members of each committee. Those expected to offer testimony will be Constance Iannetta, founder of the Pennsylvania Chapter of Foster Care Alumni of America (FCAA); Karen Stuebing Rboso, manager, Permanency Division; Jennifer Horn, program specialist, Independent Living; Sandie Beren, Montgomery County Human Services; Reily Mellot, older child; and JR Kenny, Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
