YORK – House Government Oversight Committee Chairman Seth Grove (R-Dover) issued the following statement in response to the decision by Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration to withdraw an appeal over a project labor agreement (PLA), which was before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. A PLA is a collective bargaining agreement with one or more labor organizations to establish terms and conditions of employment for a certain construction project.

For the past 20 years in the Commonwealth, we have operated a segregated health care system under medical assistance, carving out behavioral health run at the county level but physical health overseen at the state level.

Oberlander Asks PA Supreme Court to Keep Venue Rule

HARRISBURG – House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) said today the Pennsylvania Supreme Court should preserve a procedural court rule on venue that seeks to protect access to health care across the Commonwealth and asked the court to especially consider the harmful impact such a repeal could have on patients.
