HARRISBURG – A loophole in Pennsylvania’s Election Code that creates potential problems for school board candidates would be corrected under a bill authored by state Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk). The legislation, House Bill 342, currently sits with the Senate State Government Committee following unanimous passage by the state House.

HARRISBURG – Legislation authored by state Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk) that would allow a possible expansion of hunting options for sportsmen has passed the state House without opposition. The state Senate may now take up House Bill 263, which could possibly bring about the use of air-, chemical- or gas cylinder powered weapons for hunting.

HARRISBURG – The House on Tuesday passed legislation which closes a loophole that allows certain types of harassment in labor disputes. House Bill 874, which would remove exemptions in the Crimes Code that permit harassment, stalking, and threatening to use weapons of mass destruction, passed by a 109-84 margin.

Rick Saccone (R-Allegheny/Washington) today voted in favor of House Bill 874, legislation that would close a loophole that has permitted parties in labor disputes to engage in stalking, harassment and threats of violence.
