HARRISBURG – The Schuylkill Economic Development Corporation in Schuylkill County today was awarded $750,000 in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) funding for the SEDCO Pad Ready Site at Highridge Business Park, announced Rep. WHAT: The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee has announced it will hold an informational meeting to discuss maintenance of the Commonwealth’s creeks and streams to help prevent flooding. The package of bills developed based from local testimony offered at the House Majority Policy Committee hearing in Wellsboro last December will be discussed.

Committee to Consider Four Education Bills

WHAT: The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Erie), will hold a voting meeting to consider four proposals on a variety of education topics. They include measures that would provide for school-based behavioral health assistance (House Bill 2022); provide for behavioral health awareness education (House Bill 2023); provide for mental health instruction study (House Bill 2024); and prohibit scholarship displacement at public institutions of higher education under certain circumstances (House Bill 2255).
