HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) said Tuesday that Pennsylvania should not follow states like New York in adopting or developing so-called “vaccine passports” that provide proof that passport holders have received the COVID-19 vaccine or recently tested negative for COVID-19.

HARRISBURG - Pennsylvanians at risk of eviction or loss of utility service can now apply for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), said Rep. Tim Hennessey (R-Chester/Mongomery). A total of $847 million has been distributed among Pennsylvania’s 67 counties to help thousands of families maintain their housing and utility services. Owners of rental properties can also apply for assistance on behalf of tenants.

Sue Helm (R-Dauphin/Lebanon) today issued a statement of clarification regarding House Bill 290, which would allow nonprofit organizations to conduct online sales for small games of chance during the COVID-19 Emergency Declaration. The House Gaming Oversight Committee, chaired by Helm, today passed the bill with an amendment that prohibits the use of credit cards, but allows the use of mobile payment applications such as PayPal, Venmo and CashApp.
