HARRISBURG – Rep. Garth Everett (R-Lycoming/Union) has been appointed to serve as the majority chairman of the House State Government Committee by Speaker of the House Mike Turzai (R-Alleghany) for the 2019-20 legislative session. Everett, who is beginning his seventh term in the House, previously served on the Appropriations, Environmental Resources and Energy, Game and Fisheries, and Judiciary committees.
