WHAT: Rep. Scott Petri (R-Bucks), chairman of the House Urban Affairs Committee, will hold a public hearing in Bucks County on legislation, sponsored by minority chairman Rep. Thomas Caltagirone (D-Berks), to clarify how recorders of deeds may assess fees concerning amendments of declarations for condominiums or planned communities. House Bill 1101 seeks to clarify legislative intent with regard to current law and fairness to those assessed the fees.

Farry Announces Recovery House Task Force Recommendations, Public Comment Period

HARRISBURG – The House voted to pass several code bills which served as the final pieces of the 2016-17 budget, said Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks). Included in the package was the tax code (House Bill 1198), the education code (House Bill 1605) and the fiscal code (House Bill 1606).
