Lawmaker supports plan to hold the line on spending

HARRISBURG – On Saturday, June 27, the House of Representatives voted in favor of a $30.18 billion legislative budget proposal, which includes no tax increases, and represents a fiscally responsible spending plan for the citizens of Pennsylvania. State Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) voted “yes” on this budget proposal, and after the vote made the following statement:

HARRISBURG – On a predominately part line vote, the state House today passed House Bill 1192, the primary budget legislation for fiscal year 2015-16, according to state Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Harborcreek). The bill may now be taken up by the state Senate, which anticipates a vote on final passage this Tuesday, the final day of the current fiscal year.
